YESSSSSSSS!!!!! Today I bought the paper-sleeve version of ATAY in Weert, NL..... it was in a small shops, which has 5 shops in NL, all te big companies don’t have it in their computer yet, or will get it at 21st October....
Did you know Milla andersson is also singing in ATAY????
And what means published by HipHappy????
I don’t understand all the mess around Roxette Recordings under exclusive license to bla bla bla rcopyright bla bla bla, published by Hiphappy....
WHO CAN EXPLAIN THIS TO ME!!!!
Jaap

Well, I assume that HipHappy is the publishing company of Roxette nowadays (probably set up by Per), like Jimmy Fun Music was in the past.

And Roxette Recordings is just a facade. EMI is the ’real’ record company and controls everything.

By big companies you mean Free Record Shop, Van Leest, V&D I assume?

I checked them all today and none of them had the single.
I suppose ATAY won’t chart in the Megatop 100 next week then :(

Yep i mean them...
btw fame has it

As far as i know, Hiphappy is a company of Per that takes care of the rights regarding the lyrics of the songs.... (published by...)

Roxette Recordings is the same for the complete song. That way Per and Marie (more Per than Marie)will always “own” allthe rights of the songs....

EMI is indeed their exclusive recordcompany, but they do not own the songs and are not allowed to do anything with it (give clearance for an comilation album with al the hits of 2001 for example) without having permition from roxette Recordings. It’s stricktly Businnes....

And a did it in Sthlm.

huh. I asked the guy at “music store” about it, and he told me perhaps toms...

you bought a CD in the Netherlands????
well I guess you won’t be eating for the
next week! :p

sweet... ??huh??

CDs are waaaayyyy too expensive there.
I noticed that anything “new or hip” was
big bucks but then all the normal stuff
anyone needs to survive was so cheap... food, drink,
the bus, prostitutes........
