ATAY and Ballads are worldwide release’s (except USA of course)
So far I’ve seen.....
Delayed in Cananda! Delayed in Australia .......Nothing in Argentina....Delayed in UK.
So as it stands....
we have air play in what seems to be....Germany....Holland?? (can anyone confirm that) Belgium and Sweden.
Now what about.....Denmark, Norway, Finland Russia, Bulgaria, Poland, Spain, France, Italy, Portugal (and all those little countires I forget in Europe, sorry geography isn’t one of my strongest points) ........South Africa, Japan, Brazil, Mexico....etc etc ;)
I thought the world looked alot bigger!! than just 4 countries!
Now its just a thought....but is it really that hard to release a single or and album on the same date all over the world?? We have video technology.....ppls don’t need to be in places to promote stuff anymore.
Is it just me pissed off with these delays??

Well I asked EMI about the release of ATAY in FINLAND a couple of weeks ago (long time tho :) and the woman said the release date is the 14th.
And you can already order the single at www.cdon.com (they also state the release date as Oct 14).
If anyone’s interested EMI Finland plans to make a big (?) campaign for The Ballad Hits and the single is getting quite a lot airplay on at least one of four bigger radio stations.

As for Bulgaria: airplay (& TV-play :) started a couple of weeks ago.
The album is to be released on MC only (as usual with EMI-stuff) on November 4th, and will contain 4 new songs (info from Ka Music – the EMI licensee).
We don’t get singles here.
[BUT: if it gets delayed in Germany, it will be delayed here as well, I think.]

Here in Brazil, ATAY is getting a strong airplay.
We´re waiting for MTV to show the video...

Today I still got the information ATAY will be released in Austria on the 14th.

Well, doing a quick Google search, it looks like “ATAY” is charting on stations in Denmark, Italy, Switzerland, Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia, Ukraine, Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Lebanon (as well as other areas of the Mideast via an English language station called “RadioOne” that broadcasts in that area) in addition to all of the countries already mentioned. Nothing for Canada, Australia, the UK, Asia or South Africa, though, so there are some pretty big holes still.
I sure hope that EMI UK releases a single *before* the album comes out this time!! Seems like a good idea to me at least... (:

Well, in Russia ATAY receives some airplay, but not at nationwide stations where I haven’t heard it at all. Strangely enough it is played quite often at a smaller regional radio station based in the city I live in. I don’t think the album is going to be released in Russia, most likely it will be imported after its official release.

Hungary: ATAY delayed one week (so it’ll be released on October 21).
