Anyone remember this song that Roxette did, I think it was on an unplugged Album, and they may have even sung it in concert not that I can remember.

I’ve been watching the unplugged on TV this afternoon (in a recorded video-tape, not in MTV, of course) and I’ve realized I LOVE the “So you wanna be a R’N’R Star” version they did on this show...specially the “naaaaa nana na na naaaa” part at the end :))
My favourite Roxette cover version I think that could be “Oh Marie!” (version of the Sheryl Crow song), because I love when P&M sing together and also because the lyrics (dedicated to Marie Dimberg) are very tricky and funny :)

When they played it in Göteborg ’94.....they ended up going into the riff of “You Really Got Me” by The Kinks....now that was kewl! :) so was “Hangin’ On The Telephone”.....they dropped that by the time they got to the UK and replaced it with RTY.

I heard “Hangin’ on the telephone”, but unfortunately never Rock’n’Roll Star....I mean I never heard the last one live on concert personally...I wish I could hear “Heart of Gold” live....that’s my fave cover by Rox :)

Yea, they played it in South Africa as well - I almost went deaf seeing that they were so bloody loud - I loved it! - we missed out on ILTSOCG, but hey, we got RTY instead - oh yea, they played Hangin on the Telephone as well.....

I prefer “I want you”(Rock Run Ricket), the studio song in which both Per and Marie sing with Eva Dalhgren and Ratat. For those of you who haven’t heard it, yet, you can download it at Roxbytes. There aren’t crashing guitars on this one but it’s pure 80’s.
