AUSTRALIAN RELEASE FOR 'THE BALLAD HITS'

11 replies

I have heard many radio stations across Australia announce Marie’s tragic accident not long ago, and a few radio hosts have even mentioned the fact that Roxette “were about to release a new greatest hits album”. I was wondering if there WAS an actual release date for the album/single and if, perhaps, that one good thing about mentioning the accident is the fact that they are getting a bit of recognition here again.

synithos sto Oz ta cd bgainoun stin agora me 2-3 mines kathysterisi (se sygrisi me europi) alla min anysixeis tha erthei to cd :)

@ Realsugarsexmagic - i’m guessing (hoping) we’ll probably get it a few months after europe just like RS and HAND

@ vax - huh??

I asked EMI here by phone a few weeks ago if there was a new Roxette release coming up. They told me “Stars” was coming out soon. I couldn’t believe it. This is true!

*LOL* - emi are so lame, it’s pathetic

@mike: realsugar...is greek

I’ve also emailed EMI, no luck.

Dave

Greek????

@realsugar: plaka mou kanis? etsi de les sto “atay in greece” ???

EMI Australia are dumb shits!

I think the person who you got on the other end of the line who said Stars was coming out shortly, should be fired.

What unprofessionalism! I don’t think this person is what you would call a public relations person.

I hope Per reads this, it might just be the thing that makes him realise that they need to change their record company here in Australia.

yeah i also emailed them -still no reply. Makes you wonder what goes on in them EMI offices??

I don’t think there is any use in trying to e-mail EMI. If they are planning to release anything they will. If not, we can just buy the album the same way as we did with the last 100 releases by Roxette!!!!!! I’m sure, though, being a ’hits’ album, they’d try and churn as much money as they can into it knowing that the ballads by Roxette were probably the most popular ones in the world today - especially by females. It will sell.
