I want "Peas" back again! :(

What was wrong with “Peas”?
It seems many didn’t understand the whole symbolism aound them, and we now
get a boring “Roxette: The Ballad Hits” as any other greatest hits from any
old band....
Honestly, Peas should’ve stayed there...
Why then, did they use “Room Service”?? Roxette aren’t bellboys... following
the argunment at TDR forum-news-string, our “Room Service” should have been
called “Suite Music” or something...

i love the peas idea! i woz gonna start a topic on it. It’s funny and great! Why did they change it?

the peas just remind me of two things: that i don´t like them and that children tale that i don´t know the name in english of ;) (that princess sleeping on a lot of mattrasses and still feeling the pea that is under the first one)

;)

Jaap does also want the peas back. NOW!
Jaap

i agree that now the title is kinda boring, but well... i am not the greatest peas supporter. :) Not that i don’t like them, but anyway... :)

I agree!!! The title is soooooooooooooooooooooo boring!!!! PEAS should be back!!!!!

There are many countries where pronouncation of “Peas” or “Peace” would attract unrequired attention to you, as they remind words that civilized people do not usually say in public. For that reason I’m happy the title was changed - I didn’t know how I would dare to tell former title to my friends here, in Lithuania... I thing that countries with slavish languages would have similar problems, too...

@ramas: can u explain? what do u mean that there are certain words that arent used? what are these words?

btw are u new in here? :)

Maybe he refers to as in Spanish “pis” means “urine” :D

Santi: correct :P

@Wendy, calm down... I can invite you for dinner ;)

I think everybody should just go to their local food store and buy some if you’re that upset.

Why...oh...why complain about peas or raspberry’s?

Why...oh..why...complain about the cover??

I have great cd’s at home from various artists. Some of the album covers I can’t even remember!!

It’s the music, or the artist that sells really. NOT SOME STUPID SONG TITLE!!!

Jeeeeez....

Are you people EVER HAPPY WITH ANYTHING ROXETTE DOES?!

For fux sake!!!! Stop the bloody bitching!!!!

Of course!! We are happy with the music!! :)

@vaxjoe: I mean that “words peas or peace sound like words (or main parts of words) in other languages, that are not usually said in public”. It’s not swearing, it just shows your bad manners, that’s all.

As for the second question: I’m regular TDR reader for a long time, I don’t remember whether TDR was up and running in 1995, but if it was - I was already reading news here ;)

When we knew “lovepeas” would be the title of the album everybody was complaining..... but I wasn’t!!! so now that they have removed the title....why can’t I complain about it????

@ Ramas: I thought TDR existed since 1997....
LEO correct me if i’m wrong!

@japeke: I didn’t say, that TDR was already up and running in 1995, I said that I was already reading all the stuff about Rox on the Internet in 1995. If TDR opened later that 1995, that would mean I was regular reader from the very beginning, if earlier - well, at least I was reader from 1995 ;)

@ Santi : i’ll keep that in mind ;)
