Everyone here waits to see what will happen next with Ms. Fredriksson. Some wait in fear, expecting the news to be bad. Some wait in hope, expecting that the news will be good. Some check with various news sites to see if there’s anything new, some go about their daily lives, but keep a thought to what is happening.

I am one that is going on with my daily life, as it were, because I don’t have easy access to the Internet while I’m working. I check when I get home. While the waiting is rough, I thought I would share something with everyone that belonged to my grandfather before he passed in October of 2000 from a broken heart. He succumbed to this a little over 5 years after my grandmother passed of cancer in September of 1995.

I found it tonight, collecting dust, and I could just kick myself from here to California and back. Whether or not you gain comfort from this, I post in hopes that someone out there will:

Take time to GIVE... It is too short a day to be selfish.
Take time to WORK... It is the price of success.
Take time to DO CHARITY... It is the KEY TO HEAVEN.”

The copyright belongs to someone named Gerffert. Who that is, I don’t know. I do know that it always hung on the wall somewhere either at my grandparent’s home, or their apartment in the assisted care facility that they lived in before passing. I took it because it makes me stop each day and “Take Time” to reflect.

“Take Time” ladies and gentlemen. “Take Time” to reflect, to hope, to pray, not just for Ms. Fredriksson as she faces one of the biggest challenges in her life to date, but for all your fellow Roxers as well.
