There are so many synthesizers and keyboards that you can´t really hear every instrument. There are two or even four acoustic guitars and many electric guitars....

BUT: The most important thing at the songs are the vocals: At that point where gessle sings “And lately you.... painted my world blue” gessle is singing very high notes (just know the german word for it: “Kopfstimme”). And while he does that Marie joins him with exactly the same notes. The notes are MUCH too high for gessle but marie helps him and noone realized that. In the chorus Marie stays at the high notes and gessle goes down one octave. That´s such a great trick. And the mixer did a great job at that point of the song!!! Per and Maries voice are perfect together...

and when someone get´s into that “falsetto-voice” the voice is getting very silent. so when marie starts to sing in that moment to fill up the sound noone realize that there are two voices because it has the same volume..... great trick! that´s roxette!
