I too agree that the song is not really one of their best. Maybe with age, ones taste change. By that I mean both the fans and roxette.

Those who don’t really care for the song, probably will not buy the single. Does that make us bad fans? No. It’s sort of like voting. If you like someone, you vote for them. I don’t care for the song so I won’t buy it.

If you like, more power to you. If you don’t, join the ever growing club! ;)

I think everybody is free to express what he thinks about the song.
My personal comment:
FOR ME this song is not better than other old songs like I don´t want to get hurt or you don´t understand me (which for me are the “last great songs” Roxette did) but it is better than some songs in HAND or RS.
Simply, I can´t compare The rain, What´s she like, I´m sorry, CBB.. to this song.. I still shiver when i listen to these songs.
I remember when CBB album was out, 16th April? (in Spain) and 2 radio stations played some songs from the album already on 14th, the first song I heard was Place your love, I remember I couldn´t stop crying of the emotion, and that happened again and again as I listened to Run to you, CBB..
It makes me kind of sad that this feeling “disappeared” after the Don´t bore us CD new songs. Where are those songs gone? my taste changed? i don´t think so because I still love those old songs. Their style changed.. I don´t know, the songs sound pretty Roxette-ish and Per´s Ramones covers are “same old Per” style...
I just feel lack of .. interest in working out a brilliant song.

But this doesn´t mean I will leave this forum ;)
I simply don´t LOVE Roxette anymore, I just like them. Nowhere it says that you have to LOVE roxette, ADORE them to be in here, everybody is free to express what one feels AND most important thing is RESPECT.

rox02... it seems that you are saying you don’t like the song cos it’s not gonna chart well....... If that’s not the real reason it’s ok but if it is..... grow up.

And yes.. it is not one of their best..... but it’s some of the best Rox singles since WICF (if not the best)

In the beginning I thought that M&T&H would be a flop because it´s so simple and typical and maybe boring. But I heard it in the radio VERY often.

ATAY has EXACTLY the same basis-line in the chorus like M&T&H. I like the song but when I will listen to it tooooo often it will be boring. But maybe it could be a radio-hit...
