Queen Of Rain on the "Joyride" Album?

Released on the Tourism Album Queen Of Rain was recorded for the Joyride album...if you connect the final part of “Things will never be the same” with the intro of QOR we will have a continous fragment...
Would you agree to see this song on that album back then? Or do you prefer PDay instead?

“Queen Of Rain” never meant much to me, it’s not bad, but not good either. I like “Perfect Day” much more and is in my opinion the better final for the “Joyride”-album.

Actually, QOR was written for the Joyride album, but the whole thing changed when “Perfect day” was written and recorded. Per and Marie (and maybe some other people as well) thought that it was better to end the Joyride album with PF, with the upcoming world tour in their minds. PF was a much better song as a last song for a concert. I’ve read this somewhere in a Roxette-book or an interview (can’t remember it exactly).
BTW I like the “video” of PF.
Cheers,
MC

the whole joyride album had a very sgt pepper and the lonely hearts club band feel perfect day ended the album that way QOR did not

OMG! Is this possible? I agree with coyboy! Spooky, isn’t it?

lol well i agreed with per first who said the same thing in an interview. Besides, there were some very dark moments on tourism QOR seemed to wrap the album up and say hey, theres light out there dream about the sun...its kinda inspirational

I think QOR really suits Tourism and PD suits Joyride. So Roxette made the right decisions in my opinion.
