"the look" on 20/20 USA tv program

I’m on the tdr while watching a tv newsprogram (20/20) in the US about how beautiful people get better treatment. They started playing “the Look” in the background. Thought that was funny.

Very nice.

nice. ’clueless’ also had the look in one of the episodes and the song was also featured in the bold & the beautiful as a background music in the spectras’ big vogue show. :-)

Damn... Have I missed that episode of The Bold And The Beautifuls...:) Well, actually I like that soap opera.

well i cant say that i’ve heard Roxette on t.v in a LONG time (living in Oz), i hear them a bit in shopping centres, usually the look and joyride - always brings a huge smile to my face.
i once heard all of HAND being played in a cinema a few months after it’s release - that was a buzz.
:)

WHICH EPISODE??
here in BG- 2-3 TV shows B and B– one shows at the moment 100 episode, the other 200 episode...
maybe i will catch it..;-)))

Hi guys, I have some memos in my head that “The Look” has been used as a background tune in ’Bay Watch’ too.

@roxchurch: Hi, I think I was the lucky one catching it on TV but it was long time ago on the Channel 1.

joyride was used in an episode of 90210

I can remember both, the Look in Baywatch, and Joyride in 90210 ;)
There are some german series where the producers used some Rox-songs like Chances or Small Talk, Wish I could fly, MATAH ...
And sometimes on documentaries-shows, some Roxsongs are used, too (about birds: WICF, about cars: SIMC, something about surfing: Joyride and so on)
I like that, but I hate to hear Roxette in supermarkets or so ... I always have this feeling, in supermarkets “cheap” music is played, so they CAN’T play Roxette seriously :|

No, I think that ANY exposure for Roxette is a good thing. Those supermarkets pay a hefty price for that programmed music, so I wouldn’t exactly think of it as cheap!
