On http://roxdisco.narod.ru/videos/videohit.htm (which is a GREAT site btw) I noticed that there´s a “Video CD” listed for “DBU-GTTC: Greatest Video Hits”.
Can someone PLEASE let me know what a “Video CD” is??? Thanks in advance...

In other words... it’s the DBUGTTC video(released in 95), burned onto VCD.

Alright, thanks a lot for your help... is this item available anywhere else, or just in the online shop mentioned above? I have some difficulties understanding Russian, so any other way of ordering the item would be greatly appreciated! :-)

alchemiste, are you sure, that you need that VCDs?
Only two clips are little bit different from All Videos DVD (IMHBL on VCD is not a Pretty Women version and if I am not mistaken Almost Unreal differs too) But quality of that Mpeg1 videos is MUCH WORSE than on All Videos... DVD !
Perhaps you will ask me to upload you just two clips?

Well, it´s a collector´s item that I´d love to have... thanks for your kind offer anyway! :-)

CD1 never works I’m told, mine certainly doesn’t... By the way, I have your stuff now. :)

Cool... can you send/receive e-Mail during your holidays? If you can, please get in touch... Cheers! :-)

Well, probably CD1 doesn’t work as the release is no official. I rarely saw any of DBU VCD in an original package (at least here in Russia).
Though there was one.. on Room Service concert EMI brought a bunch of records for sale before the show. There was also that double DBU, but.. for 40$!!!!! I’ll be damned, let me have a DVD instead :)

video cd’s are very common in asia and the quality is usually pretty good i have that double cd edition it was the only way I saw the video hits until the dvd came out

AM dude, this is an official VCD, Philips poured out dozens of different artists around 95. I don’t think anyone bought any of them in Europe. Asia is the big country for this, like Coyboy says.
It’s like a poor man’s DVD... :)
AntiMario said on August 1, 2002 05:28:
OK, maybe.
At least I bought my version for 5$ :P
And if Asia sells VCD for about 20-30$ then anyways it would be rather wiser to stand for DVD again, which is 10-11$ here. I think Asia has the same situation.

Video CD is 5”CD with MPEG1 Video named as “DAT” files Can be played on VCD/DVD player and CD-ROM of course.
Pretty lame quality compared to MPEG4 now..
