What do you think of Roxette releasing and old song from the past as second or third single from each of the compilations, for example: (do you get) Excited? or Things will never be the same (by the way, where would you put Things... ballad or up tempo or what!?)

HELL NO!!!!!
@roxrider, vaxjoe and xarrrr: do you guys work for EMI or what??? Because that’s the kind of “brilliant” ideas the recordcompany has been having in the last couple of years. Pity those ideas and decisions have made Roxette so laughable at...

@Markuz... i dont agree, hehehe! but you gotta admit, there are some REALLY good songs that didnt get the kinda, uhm... “lime-lite” that they deserved.
@vaxjoe... yep yep!!! *LOL*

Why not? U2 released “The Sweetest Thing” 13 years or so after its original release as a b-side, and it was a pretty big hit, too...

I don’t think that a third single is possible. Most likely only one single for each compilation. There are only a couple of months between the releases (november/spring).

Hey! I don’t work for EMI, just thought that could be great to have ONE song choosen by fans on the GH albums, take for example another band like The Cranberries, that made a poll betwen the fans with the songs that have never been singles, and then that song is coming with theirs Best Of.
Let’s face it, like it or not the GH albums will be out soon, so why can’t we decide at least one song that we want?
So could be interesting to have a poll of the songs old song we really like, only thing needed is someone who knows how to make a web where people can vote. Maybe we’ll be heard by Marie and Per maybe not.

I would love to hear Sweet Hello Sad Goodbye as a single....it’s a GREAT song, and it’s only been used as a B-side so it’s not quite the same as rereleasing some old album song.
Roxryder-V2002 said on July 16, 2002 17:39:
Yeah! The sweet hello the sad goodbye is a song that i’ve loved since the first time i heard it.
I don’t know how Harleys... never been released as single, or I don’t want to get hurt, Those were songs that at least deserved a video.

my idea is a “Surrender 2002”. it was/is a great song that is branding in my brain forever.
Roxryder-V2002 said on July 16, 2002 19:40:
Surrender, what a good song! I knew it for the first time as a live video from the Sweden live, which was shown in a tv programme here in Argentina (Special 21).
Everytime i hear my POP cd, i imagine a great video for the song.
To hear it now on the radio would be fantastik
