As I write this... it’s still been less than one year since Roxette released a commericial single from their last album...
...think about that for a moment, less than one year, (good by most band’s standards).
In this short time, they have:
1. Performed in many European countries with the much celebrated ’Room Service’ tour.
2. Commenced writing new material for a new original album.
3. Commenced recording new material for said new original album.
4. Per has recorded, released and promoted several acclaimed Ramone covers.
5. Marie has released a box set of her greatest solo material.
6. Roxette have commited to performing in the prestigious ’Night of the Proms’ show in several countries later this year...
A respectable itinerary by most standards I think you’ll agree...
...and yet most recent posting in this forum are appearing to question the effort from Marie, Per and their record company?
FOR FUCK SAKE... I would hate to be a rock star and have you guys as my fans...
Perhaps we could all email EMI and request that Marie & Per stick a broom up their arse... that way they could sweep the floor whilst they go about their daily business...?
Mmmmmm.... we’ll get that little bit extra effort and work from them that way!
