Everyone plays different to the other. Per once said that when he made an demo together with Mats in Halmstad an then bring it to the Studio; when Jonas comes in for recording he always plays something different. It never sounds the same.... sometimes they change
a lot in the arrangement because of that!
No wonder that the “new” albums sound like Christoffer or Brainpool.
Maybe he got rid of the “old” style (also the songs on Greastest Hits sound like GT because they were produced by them!).
No one knows what happend between ´95 and´99 and which relationsships have changed and how.
But the strange thing is, that Per doesn´t really answers on the question besides that Anders was into production work with Jenny´s album.
If I should meet in this life iI definetly will ask that question (and tell you of course *GGG*)!
The real difference between A.and C. is, that C.has not been voted for “the most handsome man of Sweden *ha ha ha* (I don´t really wonder about that!)
So lets hope that he will come back for the next album AND tour..........

Staffan Öfwerman had to leave the band. Per and Marie wanted a more rocking sound for the C!B!B!-Tour, so they needed a second guitar and second drums - Staffan mentioned somewhere in the net, that he plays neither guitar nor drums.
On the otherhand I guess he was tired of touring, too. During the Joyride-tour he’s got Malaria and stuff like that ...
And at least, i guess he wanted to be more a private person (he also mentioned, that it was hard for him to stand the phonecalls from fans during all the nights).
Staffan is still into the muscibusiness nowadays, but I don’t know exactly, what he is doing, or in which band he is playing.

I am so happy that they are so many Rox-fans which want have Anders back.
When me and my friend were by Annexet during repetitions for Room Service-tour we stopped everybody to get autographs but when Christoffer showed up we said to eachother that he is actually not Roxette he is Brainpool. So we decided to not ask him for autograph. I don´t like him... and I agree that he should do something with him self about the hair etc.
Btw. I think Jennie has www-site www.lennielofgren.com and there you can hear singels and I am not sure but also to see video.
I heard her first album and I must say it is not so bad but Anders should be for 1000% in Roxette-band again.
Yeah, Staffan was also great in the band but I liked also Vicki a lot (more than Mia).
When somebody asked Per on rox.se what happend with Anders he answered that they lost his phone-number!

I think it is not the way you play on stage but the sound in the studio you produce (how the Songs are played and recorded).
You take a lot of time when you go to the Studio and figure things out.
But the difference is the way you go things on in this process. If the Song is produced it has a certain character and the Bass is the connector between the Drums and the Harmony-Instruments (Guitars, Keys, Violins, Vocals etc..) so ist is very important.
On the stage it is also as important as in the studio (maybe more because you are playing it live the songs should have the same character as the original; sometimes it is different).
It is totally right to say that Anders is ROCK.......yes he (it) is. But also Christoffer plays the same songs on stage. His Sound is different from Anders´; in my opinion a Warwick Bass sounds warmer than a Rickenbacker 4001.
For me it is the way he plays, the bass sound itself, and of course his acting on the stage that amazes me .
Christoffer is totally different, so for me there is a change in the Band that does not really fit.

Japp, me too. after my 1st concert (15.7.92) I decided to learn Guitar, two years later the first Band, started to play drums, visited my second Concert (28.10.94), started to learn how to use a Mixing-Desk and to do “live-jobs” in a litte club in my hometown.
BTW is was a very strane freeling on my 3rd ROX-GIG (28.10.02). You know how this concert is constructed and how it works......I seemed to me that I had to work there, but I was a very curious thing just to stand there and listen, watch.... How short 10 years can be....

I don’t know when this interview was taken but it was somewhere after the Atertaget & before he left Roxette.

I met actually Per and Marie couple of times but not so much couple of times. Actually I met Marie only 4 times. By Per it was more. I stopped to count it. And every meeting with them was something special. And two times was also Åsa with Per and she was REALLY nice to us. Many Rox-fans doesn´t like her because they think she is not so nice to fans but I can´t say it. I think the most important is how is your reaktion when you meet them... Once we (me and my friends) met the whole family. Gabriel is soooooooo nice boy.
But back to Anders. I heard that he used to be DJ in one bar here in Stockholm but I don´t know if it is right...

Anders was a too big of a compitition to Per. Christoffer and Anders are different bass players. Christoffer sound a bit more classical trained Anders is a bit rougher, which I like. If you really want to hear some of Ander’s good work, listen to the bass solo in Teaser Japanese!! Well that and a lot of other GT songs.
Another good thing Rox should add (Sorry this portion is non Anders related!) is another female backing vocalist. Sounds better when you have two female voices along with the boys singing. :) Just a thought!

It was... probably I can´t find the right words. One of the most beautiful moments in my life. Anders was nice to us, as well Jennie. She tought the gig in Stockholm was one of the best of the tour.
