Great news for sure. Tickets for the Amsterdam gig will be on sale already on Wednesday! The show will be in the Max room of the Melkweg, which fits around 1500 people. Can’t wait!!

Fantastic news! I will certainly try to get a ticket for Amsterdam. That will be the first time in fifteen years (C!B!B! tour 1994) that I see Per again. Thanks for sharing!

Coming back to our research (LOL!), another date: 23.04.2009 at 20.00 Prague, Lucerna - Velký sál; wow!!! Tickets will be available also from 28.1.

Emma - Helena discussions are even worse :S. But you only need to read Emma’s blog to understand and feel ashamed.

Wow, great news, I think there will be a big tour with 35-45 gigs in april & may. Maybe some festivals or something.
I’m looking forward for some concerts in germany.

There are few artists who can measure up to Per Gessle’s many successes as an artist and songwriter. Being a frontman and main writer of Roxette, Per has staggering record sales of more than 45 million albums and 25 million singles. The enormous amount of No.1 hits all over the world include no less than 4 US No.1’s.

This uncrowned king of Swedish pop is still re-inventing himself as a songwriter and performer and the result is his brand new album “Party Crasher” which includes the No.1 single “Silly Really”. So, what’s the point on releasing the album here in Spain before other countries, and not coming on tour to promote it?. He always do the same. I’m more than tired of this guy and his caotic preparation of evertything he does. The day he will do something right, God will exist. Very sad, tired and angry right now with “the man”.

Shepherd’s Bush holds 2000 people if I’m not mistaken !!! I hope we know when the tickets go on sale - unlike the Sheryl Crow ones where most got sold out to those who receive “email updates” from random websites !! Ticketmaster didn’t even bother to list them ! Hmmm.

Sherpherd’s Bush haven’t got the listing for the event yet !!

I’ve got UK ticket sale information, it’s just been emailed to me from Live Nation.

tickets go on general sale on Friday 30th January at 9am, HOWEVER if you register at Live Nations website (www.livenation.co.uk) you can buy pre-sale tickets from Thursday 29th January at 9am!! :-)

As for myself, living close to the Hungarian border, the closest show would be Munich around 900 km or Prague 770 km.

At lest we get a tour from Per though.

ernnnn your’re not the only one upset couse spain is not included in the list, but this time i guess that per & his managment doesn’t have anything to do with it.
I’m pretty sure that Per’s managment couldn’t find any company that wanted to pay Per for playing in Spain, its simple, all the different companies in spain are having huge economic problems so bringing Per alone without knowing if they will really get any income with it din’t have any sense to them. Its simple lots of bands (specially well known international ones) are not coming to spain mainly because of to that, even if they are making a huge tour around europe.
The only big concert company bringing good bands to spain is last tour international and they are only focus on getting good artist to play in they big festivals (benicasim, bbklive, kobetasonik etc), and i can’t imagine Per playing in any of them.
I guess that if we want to see him playing live we will have to travel around this time...allthow i guess that a lot of the people who where thinking about going to Pers concert here in spain will stay at home and spend there money in something different.

Hilton Kensington is 2mins walk away from Shephards Bush and has rooms at £66 including breakfast for that night. Ideal if you just want to wander back after the gig, not so ideal if you want to wander into the West End and slump into your hotel really late.

Emilio, I don’t count on a local release of PC. According to someone who has asked EMI via email, they have no plans about it. I just got my copy of the European CD, and that’s good enough for me. And even if released here, I can’t see Per and his troupe coming here. It takes no more than 2 or 3 hours to get to anywhere in Europe from Sweden. But Buenos Aires is no less than 12/14 hours apart by plane. It means a lot of time, stress and jet-lag. I don’t think it’s profitable either...

Personally, I don’t really care, because I have never been a fan of Per solo. His records are ok, but the idea of seeing him live doesn’t excite me at all.

You are right Raëlian, but the guy who asked for the Party Crasher released made it before it was released even in sweeden. For me to see Per live is like make a dream come true, but i´ll have go to europe because i know it´s hard to get the record here and then a show. If the record is released here and in brazil, maybe we have the chance to see Per live in BA. I don´t have any doubt he could easily sell out two gran rex (2300 pax).

I have just ordered tickets for Hamburg! In 2001 Roxette did not play in Hamburg and I did not have the chance to go anywhere else.
I am sooo looking forward to see at least one half of Roxette live (or even a little more, if you count the guys from the band)
