I’ve read very similar reports to that on Trip Advisor.
I’m looking at booking a trip to Sweden (my first ever) for my birthday in April, and obviously was interested in staying there, for obvious reasons. We have contacted the hotel and the package they offered was pretty good, and its included entry into Leifs Lounge!

I think it’s worth it just to see the Roxette museum in Leifs lounge. It was really exciting. Have never stayed at the hotel, but I visited the museum. :D

I really love the Hotel...but not the rooms! The rooms (two different ones) I stayed in so far weren’t really special. I think they need to get redecorated. They are too oldfashioned in my opinion.
But the rest is just perfect. The breakfast is one of the best I’ ve ever had in a hotel and the art stuff hanging and standing around is very interesting and gives the hotel a special vibe. I think a Rox-fan has to see Leif’s Lounge! I hope to stay there one day again to enjoy the new brilliant looking SPA centre.
I’m not up to date when it comes to the prices. Check their website maybe.

I’ve not stayed there but I visited many times, Leif’s Lounge is ace... I never choose to stay there because like some of the others have said it’s in need of a makeover for the rooms and I like my comfort in my hotels so I tend to always go for something a little better... (sorry Per!)

I stayed there the last time in 2003. It was OK, but then nothing special. Almost a bit expensive for that standard. Maybe it’s been upgraded after that.
