Silly Really debuted on No.1 in Swedish single chart

Per’s new single Silly Really debuted and hits No.1 in Swedish single chart. See www.hitlistan.se for detailes.
Last 1st single from english solo album The World According To Gessle, Do You Wanna Be My Baby? debuted on No.9 back in 1997 and topped the chart in its 2nd week. DYWBMB received Gold record after some 2 months in the chart. Let’s see what will happen with Silly Really.

Marie’s “Där du andas” single is at #59, in its 10th week. I think it’s the first time they are in the singles chart simultaneously. Did it ever happen before?

I remember that Jo-Anna Says/ Cmon was maximally “only” on 5th place. But I also remember that this plumber´s single did much more better in download charts /in that times - three years ago single and download charts were separate/, so if it have been calculated by current rules i think that Jo-Anna Says/ Cmon could have scored on better position (maybe top 3 hit). Now we can say that Silly really is huge success. As I know Swedish people prefer Per´s music in swedish (that´s the reason of “only” three number ones hits of Roxette). If despite this fact this new Per´s single after only two days in charts managed to get Nr. 1 position it is simply great. Congratulation to Per:)

Yet another swedish #1 for mr. G=). I wonder how many swedish #1s he has had by now...including GT, solo, Roxette etc etc? Anybody? The ones I know: Silly Really, Do you wanna be ny baby?, Flickorna på Tv 2, Gå & Fiska, Joyride, Sleeping In My Car, The Centre Of The Heart, En händig Man, Här Kommer Alla Känslorna, En Skog/ Tuffa tider, Jo-Anna Says/ Cmon... What else? One thing gets to me: Roxette has 4 USA #1s, but only 3 swedish #1s! Isnt that funny in a way?
