Just supposing one wanted to email EMI and ask them to release ’Silly Really’ to a wider audience, who would one email? Of course, I am not suggesting we all do it ;o) ...
I just thought they may like one email letting them know that I think it is a good song and they should release it in more than one place maybe...
Any ideas?

Good idea?
D&D is Gessle’s management. I guess it is a waste of time and bandwidth trying to convince them that the new songs are great. They know it already. ;-) Same with EMI Svenska.
Better use your efforts to write to your local (!) EMI office.

Keep on thinking.

Based on previous experience, I can say no matter how many emails we can send to out local branch of EMI, they do whatever they want in the end. They hardly send a response, and if they do, it’s only 2 lines saying “we don’t know yet” or something. It happened with “The Change”, it happened with “SOAP” and it will happen again now. The positive side is they always release the Roxette stuff, even the most pointless compilation, hehe. But it seems they are not that anxious to release Per solo projects here in this country.
Anyway, I consider to email them in early November. Just to annoy the staff a little xD

Sending promo copies to different radio stations around the world....I cannot think in any other old-fashioned way to promote music nowadays. What the hell Emi are thinking? EMI is a record company in bankrupt and I know for sure the new Gessle´s album won´t be released or they won´t start a major promotion campaing around the world. Emi Spain has always treated Roxette properly...except with the last Greatest Hits compilation...One Wish was never heard on the radio. At least they managed to release Son of a Plumber here and even The Change, by Marie. But as a fans, we should be realistic and accept the real situation of EMI. And of course, today a brilliant song is not enough to make it bigger. It requires a lot of effort and promotion...I´m sure Gessle is ready to do a big promotion tour. In my humble opinion, I think a small-medium tour around Europe will be an useful promotion tool. What do u think?

I can’t find an email address for EMI/Capitol UK
Apparently promo copies are being sent round to major places around the world, so if their is enough interest they may release it in other countries. Once the song is with us, there is nothing to stop us bombarding UK radio stations to get them interested!!
