Hello fans!
I’m still waiting for more news about Roxette, Marie or Per?
Marie recorded new single Där du andas, it’s very nice song, but Per? He recording new demos for new album Roxette or working on new solo project Son of plumber? Maybe... But where are Gyllene Tider? Where is Per?

But hey, it’s really unusually too long quiet around Mr. G. If I wouldn’t count re-releasing “The Bigger, The Better” The World According To Gessle, there’s no news about Per’s working avtivities since last autumn, which is really strange (or promising) because if I remember well, his longest vacation takes 4 days off (caused probably by forgotten pen, papper and evidently recorder also) :-) .

No, not that I remember. But Marie said in January that they’re constantly talking about possible Roxette projects and she’s sure there’ll be something in the future.

you know what would be real nice right about now, a new rarities. A double cd sandwiched with lost demos, live outtakes from rs tour and eh who knows what else they could throw in. I’m no longer expecting anything huge from them anymore, that would be greedy considering all that’s transpired. I just want something to neatly wrap up my collection, something to save me from all the crap that keeps coming out that they calim is music. Frankly I need a fix of that melodic pop that only per can write and only marie can sing. People, it’s not mandatory to do/record/release something on every anniversary (20/25/30)!!! Some people just theorizes that Gyllene Tider HAS TO DO something because it’s their 30º anniversary next year. They can do something if they want, but there’s no obligation if they don’t want to. In the same way, they can do something any time, for no apparent reason.

If there will be new Roxette album and I do believe it will, I hope that most songs will be singing by both of them, because this is really Roxette trademark. Great to hear Per and Marie together, like they did in One Wish. I know that ballads are better with Marie’s voice but Per can make some little verses there, like he did in Almost unreal, it made this song more special, more real Roxettish. And also Marie can sing some verses in a typicly Gessleish powerpop tracks, like she did in Jefferson for example. To have both of them in one track gives the song the real power to me. That’s my point of view how I would like to see/hear new album. Great melodies as always is obviosity. :-)

I would love to have a real Roxette POWERPOP new album when the time comes but if that’s not the case an acoustic one ala SOAP with Marie and Per would be great too just like På promenad... With the passing time i learnt to love that special song it’s just so simple but the voices makes a sinergy 1 + 1 = 3 or more...
