The sad goodbye for a Roxette fan.

This is sad news, but I would like to recall a big spanish Roxette fan who tragically died in the tragic plane accident which took place in Barajas Aeorport, Madrid. He is Jorge Sangrador, a guy from Bilbao who recently lived in Madrid. I met him for the first time during Roxette Room Service promotion in Barcelona in Madrid in 2001. He was an active, intelligent and positive person...but now he´s not more among us. I would like to send the best wishes to his family and closer friends. I´m sure he is now living as the way he always wanted. And I´m also sure he will keep listening to Marie or Roxette wherever he´s always now. We´ll never forget you, Jorge. RIP.
Poli.

Oh this is extremely sad to hear! I didn’t know him personally but somehow you feel a bit united with all Rox-fans around the globe. So it makes me sad. All the best to his family and friends!!

That is very sad news... I am really shocked. As Txiqui I got to know him personally during the promo tour in 2001. I think that he also used to be connected to IRC. Although I was not that much in contact with him, you could realise that he was a very nice guy. My thoughts are with his family and friends.

:O I can’t believe what I just read. The above post by staringatheground is despicable - so rude and desrespectful. Such disregard for others.
You may not care staringatheground - but to go out of your way to post that you don’t care is very cruel and very callous - especially when you consider that there are people who have posted before you who quite clearly do care.
Some people are disgraful.
I didn’t know Jorge (the name does ring a bell though - I may have also dealt with him on ebay) I’m sorry to hear he has gone.

While I’m not familiar with his full name (perhaps his nickname I would be?), I want to say I’m very sorry for him & his family. Sorry that he had to go in such a way. I’m sure he was in with the Roxette crowd that knew him. Rest In Peace, Que Descances En Paz

Just came back to TDR to have a peak and saw this item. So sad for Jorge and his family. I also met him in Barcelona and as everybody that weekend, all cheerful and excited to see Roxette. RIP

That is really sad to hear. I had dealt with Jorge in regards to some sales of items over the years... RIP and my thoughts are with his family and friends right now.
