Roxette Bus

My friend Deja_vu (his user name on TDR) from Indonesia sent me this picture http://img87.imageshack.us/img87/7388/dsc00005ni3.jpg
He said he saw this bus several times before while he was driving to college. You don’t see a bus with a Roxette writing on it in Indonesia all the time (and I assumed same thing in other countries as well) So, imagine how surprise he was when he saw it. Not only it took days before he got the picture, he basically had to try to follow that bus, and to anyone who has even been in Jakarta, you know how crazy the bus drivers there. He shared this with me and now I wanted to share this with you.
Oh, he said he was tempted to find and talk with with whoever the driver and asked what’s the story behind it, but I think he was happy enough to finally get the picture after trying so hard.

@Majdy: thank you for posting this. Does “Roxette” mean anything in Indonesian? Or is it just the name of our favourite group Roxette?

You’re welcome :) No, it doesn’t mean anything in our language. So, I am positive it must be the name of OUR favorite band :) It’s pretty cool, isn’t it? ;)

I think with the star in the “o” it’s quite obvious. ;-) Cool sighting!

Then it means that the bus driver is a fan of Roxette. I doubt it’s a left-over from some promo campaign in Indonesia!
Does this Rox-friendly driver also play Roxette music for passengers? :P

The star in the “o” was a new sign in “roxette’s Hits” album.
So I guess maybe the bus’s owner just paste that stickers in the few pass of the months. :D

I think that the Star is a very Roxettish sign. You can find the star on many Covers (not only in the O). For example “Look Sharp”, “Tourism”,”The Pop Hits”, “Stars-Maxi (of Course ;) )”, “Roxette - Live-ism”, “opportunity nox”, ...and of course in the O of “Roxette Hits”. So the sticker could be older than RH.
EDIT: Oh, and I see, there is also a star in the Daily Roxette Headline :)
