Roxette and Columbo?

Hey all
I’m finding it really strange (but cool) that Columbo hass been brought up ’round here. I’ve been a MASSIVE Columbo fan for what seems all my life and I’m just astounded by it. It’s wicked! I’ve purchased all DVD’s and recorded all the ’80’s and ’90’s telemovies to VHS.
I dunno. Maybe I just find it personally funny.
Peace.

PS. Do you think there might be some sort of psychological link between Mr Columbo and Rox? Is this topic too philosophical? Sorry folks.

Per likes Columbo too, he mentioned he watched some episodes on DVD in his blog. Go Lieutenant!

I remember that 10 years ago RTL - Germany’s biggest tv station - showed a lot of Columbo movies for weeks, months and years. I watched it very often but I didn’t like the fact that you know the murderer in the beginning already. That made it boring after some time..

whats Columbo? a director?,never heard of
inform me please

Used to be one of my fav detective TV-series. Yes, shown even in Russia haha! :)

’Columbo’ was a series that began in the late 1960’s starring Peter Falk as the glass-eyed Lieutenant Columbo. It spawned something like seven series in six consecutive years. It was re-vamped again in the later ’80’s.
You always new the murderer in the beginning of the movies, but the good thing about a Columbo episode was that he’d always nab them with wit. Other murder shows of that time (’Murder, She Wrote’ or ’Kojak’) never revealed the murderer until the end of the show.
’Columbo’ was, and still is, my favourite drama TV show. Throw in the ’Planet Of The Apes’ saga, ’Friends’ and ’Soprano’s’, and jeez.. what a whirlwind!

You forgot The Shield!

I’ve always loved Columbo but all my friends, including my partner hate it. I’m amazed how popular it is on here. Thanks for the link to the fan site, enjoyed browsing that. (I’m also a big fan of Patrick McGoohan who appears in several episodes, plus I loved The Prisoner). Be seeing you...

Mark.
