Apparently, it hit as far south as Bourne and Stamford...nothing all the way down here in Kent though.
I’ve slept through loads of earthquakes! There was one where I used to live, when I was still in secondary school, and one where we all in a tent in Cornwall! And we all woke up to find the news about it, having never felt a thing. Evidently we’re all heavier sleepers then I give credit for!

I did felt it last night. Nearly had a heart attack. It was the first earthquake i had ever experienced and I had no idea it was earthquake until I read about it on msn web. I thought my neighbour had detonated bomb or something. The wall and furniture were moving and i thought the house is about to collapse. Scary!!! at least I know wat it was now. My cousin I live with said that his telly was jumping and it scared shit out of him.

Loads in my local paper say they felt in.... I tend to be out for the count when I sleep! lol My friends hubby felt it and woke up came downstairs to tell his missue who was asleep on the floor in the living room (they having family over hence her sleeping on the floor) and she just laughed and said he was dreaming - till they saw the news!

I was sound asleep, although the local paper claims people heard it here also and some damage has been caused. They say most of the North West got it on a scale of 5.3!

I did wake up shortly after it to the sound of alarms from houses and cars going off and assumed there had been a power cut since it’s always like that when there has been, little did I know it was an earthquake!
But as for feeling nope, I was out for the count!
