Behind the scenes of HAND?!

I was going through some old video files tonight and stumbled across a few rox ones showing the HAND album recording sessions in spain.
I’m not sure if it was a film crew or if it was just P&M stuffing around with a handicam. Either way is good.
I always loved watching “the making of joyride” on “the videos” and any other doco related to what goes into the creation of an album/song.
Was just thinking if there is a DVD release of some sort in the future, it would be nice if some of these type of things would be thrown in as a bonus (if they’re still floating around). It’s been a long time since ’91.

Well, I’ve never heard of this before!! It would be great to see this appear on DVD at some point. Very unlikely that this is going to happen though isn’t it!!!

I have never seen or heard about some kind of documentary from HAND-days. I’ve seen once an interview with Luuk on Swedish TV and there was a little extract (ca 1 minute) from Spanish recording session HAND but that was all.

I have not ever heard about this docu either. I hope they are going to be available on DVD as bonus, if the Roxette live DVD’s are ever released. It’s plenty of material out there.

Yes, would be great if they will make another The Making Of “new album” like they did for Joyride, if they will record new album. What a pitty that there are no documents from recording CBB in Capri and HAND in Marbella.

I remember that very well back in early 99. I saw that documentary here in Portugal. Basically it just explains the whole process during the recording sessions for the HAND album. You can see Per’s son Gabriel when he was still a baby and also Marie’s youngest near a pool.
You get to see Michael Illbert who engineered the album and also Chris Lund who first worked with Rox in this very ocassion. They commented on “Anyone” , “Wish I Could Fly” and “Crush On You”. For some reason Marie makes a gesture to Per I didn’t really quite got it at the end of the COY comment. LOL
They also said at this stage they would do another world tour since it had been 5 yars since the last concert. Marie would love to go to Iceland for some reason and of course they mentioned the outtstanding feedback back in 94-95 during the tour in South America. Per on the other hand wished to go back to the US to “play for those guys” as he said.
