Kylie's back!

I hope you’ve all listened to the new Kylie Minogue song TWO HEARTS — it’s extremely great > amazing catchy chorus, campy lyrics, cool instruments and perfect backing vocals ... and she looks hotter than ever, at least in the brand new video clip.
If you like Roxette, Garbage, Scissor Sisters and Goldfrapp, you will love that song!
What do you think?
roxtexanet said on October 11, 2007 00:36:
I’ll check it out, but only because you mentioned both Roxette AND Garbage... (-; Thanks for the heads-up!

I’m not a fan of kylie, but she does have a few songs that i don’t mind listening too (confide in me, did it again).
That wasn’t at all what i was expecting. Quite different to her last few releases. But it is quite catchy, i think it will do well.
And is it just me that think she looks like Christina Aquilera at the start of the clip?

Im not a mega fan myself. But the women does good pop, I mean Cant get you outta is a classic no question. She is loads better than Madonna in my book.

I don’t like her music however I have the calendar on my wall each year.

See, same song :-P
It was covered for the compilation ’Radio 1- Established 1967’, so it might be on X as well, I don’t know
Gachy said on October 14, 2007 17:52:
It was also covered by The Divinyls. It must be a familiar track for the Roxette fans, because it was included on the “Super Mario Bros.” soundtrack as well (like “Almost Unreal”).

I really liked this, too! Kylie is hit or miss for me... I liked “Can’t Get You Out of My Head” and “Love at First Sight” from the “Fever” album, but nothing from “Body Language”... but I have to give her credit, this new single is really something very different for her!
rox-kuryliw said on October 15, 2007 08:44:
I was just going on who wrote ’like a drug’ on wiki on X. Just shows you cant trust that site lol.
arnie said on October 18, 2007 14:27:
The new kylie single isn’t the song “Love is a drug” and both songs sound very diferent to me.
And that song (LIAD) is actually a cover, but that’s another story, so why don’t we open a new topic and talk about the very short carer of Divinyls?
ncurran said on December 1, 2007 00:35:
rox-kuryliw, it’s because it is 2 different songs. “Love is the drug” is the roxy music cover she did for the radio 1 compilation. “Like a drug” is one of the tracks on her new album :)
great album by the way! If “The One” isnt released as a single her record company are nuts!
ncurran said on December 11, 2007 18:28:
I agree....that’s my favourite track....in fact at the moment its probably my favourite song that she has ever recorded. It looks like it won’t be released until the 3rd or 4th single though

Time to resurrect this one from the dead.
It’s such a shame that “The One”, one of the strongest singles had such little promotion - looks like the first non top 10 UK single since the 90s. Awesome video though:

I love the Freemasons mix even better than the album version. :)

I never liked her, her voice leaves me totally indiferent (it can be even annoying, sometimes). But as she has a giant promo machinery behind her, she always sell well.
