Could somebody please provide me with a brief history of this song?
I have heard the live version from “Sommarturne” but I don’t know what the song was originally recorded for. I believe it was recorded around 1990 (?) and it is a cover.
Any info would be appreciated. Thanks!

It was originally written by the Swedish author and composer Evert Taube (1890-1976). Marie recorded the song for the tribute album simply titled “Taube” in 1990, I think. He’s also the composer of “Änglamark” that was recorded by Marie along other artists (as “Artister för miljö”) in 1992. Both are nice songs.
By the way, this is something I didn’t know ’bout Taube until now:
“Following a five-year stay (1910-1915) in Argentina, he developed an interest in Latin American music and introduced the Argentinian tango to Sweden in the twenties”.
