Hi all
(for some reason my log-in for the past goodness knows how many years now seems not to work on TDR !!!!!! so instead of ’onlywhenidream’ I am now ’onlywhenidream again’)
Anyway, if the rumours (and they could well just be rumours at this time) about Marie and Per calling it a day are true - i just have one wish - one final request:
Please Marie and Per, do one more recording, do a slightly more modern version of ’The Sweet Hello, The Sad Goodbye’ and release it as your swan song. do a great video, put a bit of promotion into it, and enjoy one last throw of the dice.
Call it a tribute to us fans, your record label and your management. but most of all call it a tribute to yourselves and your incredible journey together.
I don’t think anyone could ever blame you for wanting to call it a day, if that’s what you want...but just do this one thing for everyone and end it with possibly one of your most amazing songs, revised, re-recorded. It is a song that typifies the situation at the moment, and something that i think would be amazing for you to do.
Anyway. if anyone out there agrees, then just add to this thread and hopefully someone will take notice.

But I’m liking the idea of a re-working TSH,TSG. It really is lovely song and should’ve been included on Joyride!! I’ve always said this!

Good point. Atleast then if they feel like putting together a song or two they have that option, without it becoming another “comeback”.
Maybe they should just do the remake anyway :-P
