Per and his (old) music style

I don't understand why Per recording still his old styles 60's, 70's and after this it is new album? Look at album Mazarin and song Spegeboll - it is that !!! It is fresh sound... Mikael B. recording fanstastic album a Marie's voice is great. Hometown, it's a typical Roxette song. Thank you so much Marie...

It’s not because you’re not up-to-date with rox, or related stuff, that you’ve been on Mars. It’s not like they’re in the news every day.
I remember my first topic about “good and bad roxsongs” and I got blown away by some people here because it was “already discussed”. I must say that it doesn’t make new people feel welcome here.
So why don’t we just be nice to each other ;)
And as far for the topic, I think Per likes making solo albums in the style of the music he grew up with. And the new Marie songs on “A Family Affair” are indeed very nice.

The hard part is choosing the correct keywords to search with.
Per seems to go through phases, which i believe he even mentioned himself. I’m sure this one will pass in time.
POP/LS - pop/synth
Joyride/Tourism - pop with a rock twist
CBB/TWATG - rock with a pop twist
Then he went a little more dance (not much)
Then the synth came back in, with a bit of guitars.
Now he’s gone 60’s/70’s.
Whats next??

@RobS - I don’t know what it’s gonna be like next. Maybe a move into the 80’s sound with Synths again? I reckon though if there is going to be a SOAP2 then it’s just gonna be in the same style as SOAP1! I guess only time will tell I suppose. There is NEVER gonna be a return to the rocky sound of CBB though, and I don’t think it’d suit him/them anymore.
