TDR Where are you??

Hello?? It’s been more than a month now since the last posted news.
It’s not like nothing happend in the Rox world. What’s with you guys, are you all on hollydays? It’s been one whole tour (not that you don’t know that) with almost no covering from TDR, don’t you think it deserves a little attention? At least the closing show where Marie Fredriksson was present?
I’m sorry if I seem a little pushy but I’m used to have TDR as some sort of a point of refference, and now all I get is blank pages. Hope to read from you soon.

I wasn’t sure whether to reply here or on the ’PG in decrease....’ thread, but seeing as I’m here then I’ll do it here.
Now that the EHM tour has finished, it may be time for Per too step out of the public eye for a while. This would be perfect opportunity to start work on a new Rox album. Of course it all comes down to whether Marie wants to bla bla bla (this has been said so many time before). I think that this is a brilliant chance to get back with Roxette. Maybe the Swede’s are fed up with seeing Per everywhere, so this will give them a break. They’ve always said it takes up to a year to write and record an album, so the earliest it’d be out would be around Xmas 08 or Spring 09. The Swede’s would get their break, and we’d get a new Rox album.
Of course, I haven’t a clue what is going to happen, this is only my thought on what I think could be an excellent idea. It’s all down to Per & Marie of course. It’s become clear that Marie is sounding back to her old self singing wise now that Micke’s album has been released. I suppose the only thing holding them back is the promotion. But maybe with training or learning again, maybe Marie would be able to do short 4/5 song set’s, even if they performed acoustic versions. I’d love to see them together on stage just on more time, Per playing acoustic guitar and Marie singing live. I’m guessing EVERYONE here would be the same.
Anyway, that’s my thoughts, and I THINK a few of you here may agree with me??

I think you’d be right about that. We know Per is a self-confessed work-a-holic so he’s bound to be working on something. Whether it’s Rox-related we can only wait and see.
Back on topic... even when the RS tour was on, i don’t recall there being an article every second day about the tour.
Unless there is something amazing to report on I don’t think we need an article every day stating “concert was great, songs performed were... so many thousand attended, Per wore a blue shirt etc”.

Funny that some of you are “asking” for news. Actually I thought when I saw Thomas taking pictures at the Stockholm concert we would get a new article about sth soon, but in the end, what could that be? I am not too keen on news and I somehow think that it can’t be anything breathtaking.. :-)

The next project to come from Per will be SOAP2 recorded in the Grey Aerosol Machine with CÖ & CL (and some technicoloured magnic from HJ of course). It will be similar to SOAP in that it’ll be heavily influenced by his vinyl collection, contain many amazingly good songs, but also filled by some weaker ones. It will split the Roxette community into those who think that it’s the best thing since SOAP and those who don’t rate it at all. The former contingent will love the tour of medium-size indoor concert halls across Europe. The latter contingent will continue to spread gloom about the state of Per’s career and debate whether there will be a new Roxette album (which there won’t). We’ll see!!

I am working on another interview with Micke, but I am still thinking if I should add the article here at all, I really don’t feel like having the article full of crap and stupid comments. Micke (and Marie) deserves more than that.
