Well, Purplemedusa will know when I say that I’m NOT a big fan of Per Gessle/Gyllene Tider, BUT this song ROX - it’s SO catchy.
You have to admit....it gets your toes ticking on the ground and your fingers tapping to the beat.
It’s timeless - like THE LOOK.

Zeeshan.... contact me and I’ll help you out! :)
In the mean time check out this GT performance at Skansen in 2004...

Sommertider is possibly one of the biggest GT hits around, hence the reason Per throws it in at his own concerts... ;)

I came across a song called “For Free” sung by Marie. She sings about a guitar player who plays...for free. It sounds 80’s. Does anybody know what it is. I have never heard about it.

It’s a demo she wrote I think...can’t remember exactly
’Even if I am in love with you. All this to say, what’s it to you?’

“For Free” is a duet with Erik Borelius, and it was released in 1986. It was originally written by Joni Mitchell.

That is Gyllene Tider’s “Sommartider” (Summer time). Sincerely, I can’t stand that song, hehe. I know it was a big hit and such, but for me it’s too simple and way too overrated.
