Hi everyone, im back. (Just been away for a weeks vacation in Rhodes). Anyway I have just found out that I love the soundtrack to 80s movie Top Gun “Take My Breath Away”. Another 80s hit for me, JAIH :)
Anyway, how come that some say that Roxette made “Take My Breath Away”? It doesnt sound like Marie. Is it really her/them? Cause I really dont think that it sounds like her. Am I mistaking or is it just weird rumors? Anyway help me.

And another question. Is there anyone in here who knows which track from the first album “Pearls of Passion” was the first single? Was it “Soul Deep” or “Neverending Love”? Cause “Neverending Love” was a hit back then in 86, but was it the first single?

My re-release of “Pearls of Passion” has some x-tra tracks on it. Why is the track “Pearls of Passion” an x-tra track on the re-released album of the same name? Wasnt it even on the original “Pearls of Passion” album from 1986? Wow, my god this sounds confusing, but I just think its weird if the title track wasnt even on the actual album? Is it an x-tra track or was it on the original album?

And then a fourth :)
Does anyone know where I can get a koncert DVD with Roxette in Denmark or via dailyroxette.com?

I hope you can help me. I really hope that all of you is doing fine, I am :)
Bye :)

Take My Breath Away is from the Band called Berlin and not from Roxette (It says it on my Fathers Old Soundtrack LP from Top Gun)!

Have Fun!!!

Thank you. I thought it was Berlin.
Have a nice day :D

I guess it started when some dork put out the track “Take my breath away” on Napster incorrectly thinking it was Roxette.

“Neverending Love” was the first Roxette release ever. (“Soul Deep” was the third single.)

“Pearls of Passion” was the b-side of “Soul Deep” but was never on the album. According to the Roxette book Per didn’t think the track was strong enough.

But why is the album called pearls of passion then? Thats confusing. :)

Good name? Pearls of Passion... get it?

Ahh, yes I get it now. Thank you.
Have a nice day :)
