i really liked the joyride album, there was a lot of good songs on there. but for some reason something always went wrong with the cassette :( (this was before i had a cd player).
marie looks great in the photo on here don’t you think??

i had such problems as well with my roxette’s casettes:) coz i listened it thouthand times,the same feeling, i prefer album”crash boom bang!” it was something with the songs like sleeping in my car and fierworks,and the old one ”jouride” there is great songs they’ve made..

my fav’s are CBB, Joyride and Tourism. The others only have a few songs on it that i really like.

I, too agree that Marie looks great on Joyride cover. She cool in all their album covers. Per looks great there, too. Now he looks too thin. It ages him a lot. He was never fat. He looked just right for his look. My favourite Rox album used to be “Pearls Of Passion”. Now I have to say “Room Service”.

Joyride is my choice. I actually think it could have been considered as a “classic” pop album by critics as well, if it just had been a bit shorter. I think there are around 8-10 good songs on the album. Perhaps they could have added Queen of Rain as well, since it was already written (and perhaps recorded?) My track listing would have been:
Side A:

“Have a Nice Day.” I think. I listened to the “Joyride” album the other day for the first time in ages and I had forgotten how ballad-heavy it is! There are, of course, up-beat tracks but I think they mostly pale in comparison with the ballads (except for “Joyride” of course)... the ballads still sound great but the up-tempo tracks are sounding a bit dated. “HaND” still sounds as good to me now as it did eight years ago.
