I just realized, much to my surprise, that a) I have John Holm’s CD “Verklighetens Afton”, and b) it has “Din Bäste Vän” on it, my favourite song from Marie’s most recent album. I *can’t* get over how different the two versions are!! I honestly would never have known they were the same song had it not been for the lyrics. Has anyone else heard this version? I think it’s a re-recording because the original seems to be from 1976, and it sounds VERY 80s. And it’s awful!!
