I think that the other kid is a friend of Gessles son. It would have been more clear if they wrote Gabriel Gessle and William, instead of William and Gabriel Gessle.

The translation is fine, however, the person who wrote the original must be dense. Per doesn’t have “children”, just a child, so this William isn’t his kid at least.
