reveal attic remix

I just want to say (as there is not much news going on at the moment in the world of Rox) that I think the Attic Remix of Reveal is aboslutely stunning...really inspired!

It has maries vocals sounding really strong, but just the arrangement and the different 80s sounds are so cool.

Sadly this is another of the decent remixes that won’t get the credit/ airplay that I think it deserves, but it will get good air time in my car CD.

I didn’t think much of either of them when I heard the snippets, I must confess ! In fact I thought the Kleerup Mix was horrible - the violin acting against Marie’s voice sounds awful - it does in the full version too! Fortunately it is only for the first chorus :) Second and third time round it isnt so bad ! And the Attic Mix is simply ace !

Just heard the Reveal remixes, and i love them. Attic moreso, but Kleerup sounds nice too. Too bad there wasn’t more of a push from EMI, the Attic mix should have done well on radio.

Hi everybody! quite difficult to get the single at the stores...you can get it from itunes. I’ve already bought it. The attic is a nice version, much better than the kleerup, wich sounds strange and uninspired, but that’s only my opinion

No i-Tunes here in Czech rep. No way to get it legaly. I ordered it in store, but yestersay I ´ve received a mail, that they are no able to get it. Only way is buy it on Bengans.se as my previous Rox & related CDs and DVDs. But buy only one single?!? Has it meaning?

Maybe so, but you’re comparing the original ballad to a dancey remix. Compared to the single version, i think the original is better.

As good as they are, they’re remixes of a Roxette song. I like alot of the remixes done, Fireworks (Jesus Jones mix), Real Sugar (shooting star treatment) for instance, but it doesn’t take anything away from the original song.

I just got the CD in my Cd player now, and WOW there is so many more lines to the tune that you just don’t hear properly on a CD!!

The complete RoxBox is in my car-hifi, and I think that I heard the orginal loud enough ;) I bought the single and remixes through iTunes. In my eyes Reveal isn´t a single worth. Roxette is known for good ballads. I hear WICF/M&T&H/ATAY and all the old ones every day on the radio and they sound great. But Reveal gives nothing to my. Boring melody, boring vocals...so the Remixes freshs the song up, gives the song more energy. No matter if it´s a dancesong or not, for me the original and single version are bad productions, without ideas. But thats just my opinion.

The Attic Remix i don’t like much it’s so 70’s and we are in 2007, it’s not bad but sounds dated. The kleerup mix is good. Actually i was expecting remixes like the ones made for WICF, TCOTH and MATAH... a bit more modern edge. In the other hand is soooooo great that Roxette is back with a second single, so i’ll buy anything they release... :-) Love them so much!
