Spreading good feelings and vibes can be a difficult task. There is enough bad feelings in the world without bringing it into the world of TDR. I totally understand that not everyone is gonna agree on everything (that’s been well proven these last couple of weeks), but we do seem a little to angry (for want of a better word) at each other.
So the idea of this thread? Nice comments about each other only. A lot of us have helped people out over the years - thank them! Try and make people feel good about themselves, brighten someones day.
I know I’m probably gonna get a load of sarcastic comments back for this, but can we at least try.

Yes things can get out of hand here sometimes, but at the end of the day, I think people get on pretty well compared to a lot of other internet forums. And there are certainly a lot of nice people on here. I think it helps that it is quite a small community and we are mostly fans who have been around for years.

I haven’t been around TDR forever, but I do think very highly of everyone here - mods included! :) Part of what makes TDR so darn brilliant is the people, and we’ve certainly got a very diverse group of people here: different backgrounds, cultures, languages, professions, opinions etc. However, at the end of the day, our love and appreciation for Roxette is what unites us - almost like a family.

I don’t REALLY know anyone from TDR, except bits and pieces from say Majdy’s or Ally’s life from the other threads but I do like some people and sometimes I even smile just when reading their name in some posts. And all TDR members were always nice to me so *thinking good thoughts for everyone*. :)

He was so nice despite the major bad thunder storm happening at the time....
My internet connection problems issues are on there way to being solved!
AOL can stick there crap service up there a$$ I am so outta of there when my current contract ends!
Tested my socket no fault but he could clearly hear all the noise on the line.... anyway to cut a long story short turns out there is an underground fault from outside my house to the main box about 5 minutes away and so he’s passing it on the underground engineers to sort! Might be a cable that needs replacing or something....
So AOL who blame, my phone, my filters, my modem and finally my computer where so wrong!
... but at last I know I was not going insane and that there was a problem!

Can’t say the same for Oscar, the dog. He’s showing signs of Pancreatitis the vet is keeping him in overnight as he’s been put onto a drip of fluids as he’s not drinking and hopefully we’ll be able to have him back home tomorrow.
Really just a case of waiting for the results of his blood tests today and then they’ll carry out some x-rays and stuff.. :(

Thanks Vet called was not what he thought and all his blood test came back okay, so we are still none the wiser which is more worrying...
Anyhow he is staying the night and tomorrow he’ll have a GA and some x-rays see if that will point out what is causing his pain.

The vet called us twice this afternoon once while Oscar was still under the general anaesthetic to ask if he wanted him to be castrated at the same time – he didn’t give a reason nor did he say what he had found, but mum agreed.
I have to admit I was upset at this as I felt the least the vet could have done was give a reason why, but maybe I was just upset and worried. I was just thinking what a trauma, poor thing is missing us like crazy and he’s going to wake up being castrated at almost 7 years old.
What I didn’t know was that they also discovered him to have a slightly enlarged Prostate so castrating him there and then would save any future surgery. They didn’t mention this at the time, so I guess this justifies it.
Anyway the second time he called about 20 minutes ago and Oscar is okay and recovering. He didn’t find anything like cancer which of course is a big relief for us. However he did say that all his intestines where twisted and stuck together. He is not sure what has caused this but he has unravelled them so to speak and they will try and encourage Oscar to eat something over the next few hours and hopefully he will be able to still do his number 2! (Sorry to be graphic)
We’ll get more information tomorrow and hopefully we’ll get to bring him home as well.
Not sure what all this means for the future, maybe a special diet or something or what really caused this in the first place.

..... they fixed my fault! Seems my internet connection problems since July this year where due to a faulty cable between my house and part of the street! All been replaced this morning and finally I can make a call without the noise on the line!
Guess who’s going to BT for there internet next year when there AOL contract ends! Excellent service for them, I even wrote and thanked them!
Thumbs down to shitty AOL for fobbing me off for months!
