agree with whateveriam ...
2003 has seen the release of “The Pop Hits” which includes the above mentioned tracks, and they had been remastered back then ...

A remaster is taht the song has been mastered again, it is not a new version, but that the final mix has been “polished” in a different way.
Normally older songs need that in order to get the most out of them and treat them with new methods that weren’t available when they were first released.
On the other hand, apart from the obvious difference in volume, is there any major difference between the remasters and the originals in the Pop Hits? (I don’t have the Pop Hits, so I can’t check)
On the other hand, how do you dare to remaster a song that is 2 years old? :|

g.m. -> Maybe “George Marino”, that is the guy that remastered most Roxette albums? :D
Santi said on September 8, 2006 21:19:
I know he mastered the Ballad and Pop Peas, because they were shown with that name (I mean, with “Peas”) back then as “current projects” at his website on Stirling Sound.

@ Santi
How the heck are you still referring to “Peas”?! It’s a title that was CANCELLED three years ago, and never saw the light! Got a thing about them ? o_0

Sorry... but they publish different names for same thing ie IMHBL (Humberto Gatcia mix) is PW version and so on and so forth
japeke said on September 9, 2006 11:10:
@animalkingdom: they were called peas on GM’s own website as the writer already stated and explained.
Besides that, a ’love peas - the ballad hits’ promo saw the light.

Strange that all the tracks, with the exception of the new ones, aren’t listed as “g.m. remasters”. Note that only a few of them are. If they are using the same George Marino masters from ’The Ballad Hits’ and ’The Pop Hits’, which they probably are, then it should state so for all the tracks. Why just a select few? Perhaps it’s just incomplete info. Note what appears to be the “single mix” of “Milk And Toast And Honey”. Hmm. Too bad the 7” version of “Dangerous” doesn’t appear.

The “Humberto Gatica Mix” of It Must Have Been Love is the version we all know through “Pretty Woman” - Humberto Gatica “remixed” the Christmas For The Broken-Hearted for Pretty Woman.... So, there’s no surprise here!
