too much topics about the same thing

sure, all of you have seen that there are too much topics talking (bad) about the Rox Box. I think we have to colaborate stop opening topics to complain about this theme.. don´t you think so?

I think so too, I am lost in the Roxette section, I can’t think which topic I am following and what I have replied to and what I have not replied to... lol

and now low and behold another topic about the box has popped up in Off Topic!

Indeed, cut the crap, PLLLEEEEEEEAAAAAAAASSSSSSSSSSEEEEEEEEEEE!
The more we go on, the more people get rather mental visiting the forum.

@bevi: I’m completely in accordance with you (I read your comments in the international forum) and think like you, you have my support, you’re not the alone!, never change your mind.

Greetings

Ps: por eso no contesto ningun topico mas que se refiera a eso.

Vanesa.

@ rox-van: thanks! it just hurt me what i read over here in this web so i have decided not to read any post about this thing

I LOVE ROXETTE, THAT´S ALL

The Spanish speaking people in here could show a little bit of coherence by not opening a new topic everytime they get a new picture of Per, Marie, the nephew of Marie or the goldfish of Per.

Or is it that the international forum doesn’t have to be moderated? Is it only the ones you’re not pleased with or what? :D

Oh I wanna see a picture of Per’s goldfish ;)

@santi coherence?? spanish speaker?? what are you talking about? in the “Roxette forum” are opened about 10 topics to complain about The Rox box... if we open a topic with photos of Per´s goldfish or whatever we want, will be without insults to Per because we don´t like one of his cds.
That´s the idea of this topic, try to stop topics about the Rox Box (letting just one opened)

Goldfish?!...

Maybe... have the colors of the TDR...

Personally I don’t speak Spanish so I can’t moderate it.

Aww bless that little orange man... what’s he called?

@tevensso: i sent you an email, did you read it??

LOL at the goldfish- why people? Why?

It is getting a little confusing, but not enough to merge the lot, just yet...

I guess that the two threads closed this morning in the international forum (both of them in Spanish) have been closed because we’re repeating the same thing again, again, and again... Although a brief explanation would have been nice :)

EDIT: Vanesa, what a nice goldfish!! LOL.

@Miss-missery: sure, they have been closed because of that. if you spoke spanish you would read things really hurting...
Besides, there´s already a topic about this theme where people can talk about this theme in spanish.. i think is reallly enough to have one topic about this
THANK YOU TEVENSSO

Oh, so now it is you Beatriz moderating thru Thomas??
As far as I know there is at least 1 moderator that speaks Spanish perfectly, and Catalan btw.

In any case, if it were you, did you noticed you closed a thread that has no relation whatsoever with this Rox-Box controversy since it was started over 2 years ago to complain about Roxette not releasing anything in Argentina?

I’m talking about this: http://www2.dailyroxette.com/smalltalk/thread.php/11671

This was not about the Box. And if you can not critisize anything... oh well...

Welcome the Thought Police...

I fancy a goldfish now.... perhaps I’ll get one and I call it Per!

@santi: i´m not moderating and i have not closed any topic for sure! if moderators speak spanish then they would have read what people have said in that topics and won´t like that. I just showed here my opinion cos i think few fans are just saying things they shouldn´t
Anyway, the topic you are talking about (that was opened 2 years ago): the topic is right at the begining but people lose their head really soon and start the insults.
Is not police man, is just respect, and do you really think is necesary more than 1 topic to talk about the same thing? In the “Roxette forum”, they have closed few topics too and you don´t say nothing about that.
Santi, do you speak spanish? is just that my English is not perfect and maybe i sound a little rude (sorry if i seem like that!)so if you speak spanish we could talk about that in this language

I just wanted to start a topic called

“too much topics about the same thing 2”

Should I let it be *LOL*

Come on... Its a discussion forum, and if there are replies,
let them be ! Dont reply and they will “dissapear”

I speak Spanish perfectly, I am from the Basque Country :P

A Sticky on the top of all the forum sections with some rules wouldn’t hurt. I guess that not so many reads this section so often.

I speak Spanish but I don’t spend 24 hours reading the Spanish topics /international forum neither do I want to ;) As many others do, if you think a topic should be moderated/closed, feel free to email (email address in my profile) and I’ll have a look.

On the other hand, and since my guess is that you don’t spend the whole day checking TDR, many moderator actions go unseen to your eyes ;) So the forum IS moderated, just that maybe you don’t realise it because topics/comments are deleted before you even see them ;)

Hi friends, I wanted to express my joy over how you treat all these various topics. I feel it must be hard to keep them all in your mind. I does not matter if one or two are duplicartes. It’s always up to you to change the direction of the topic. One question may have two or even three answers. :-)

@Judith: Alright, that may be. But that was not my point, it is that people need to release some stuff and they create topics that are not so nice on the Roxette forum. Mind that they have been waiting for 10 years for a great box interesting for all-time fans, and lately Gessle himself was making up some expectations of something great that suddenly are not to be fulfilled, and all of it we got to know it overnight.

The only thing I asked was an equal treatment to threads which are numerous of “a pic here, a pic there” in the international forum. With that I don’t mean to close those down. I mean, let the thing cool down by itself, not by closing people’s mouths. It will come down as soon as One Wish is revealed :D

Btw... Cool thing to moderate, huh?

*singing*
“Si yo tuviera una escoba... si yo tuviera una escoba... cuantas cosas barrería...” :D

If the topics are about the same pictures, then they should be closed. Of course we can agree to have a topic about Marie pictures and one about Per pictures and one about Roxette and so on.. but really, this is happening NOW because there are many things going on, but things will calm down.

Topics are closed if the discussion turns into a flame, which is the case in 90% of the Spanish-speaking fans’ discussions, about anything, be it a discussion about a new picture, a new release or Per’s t-shirts ;)

As I said, you might not get the full picture because I delete some comments which you might not even have read, of course, then for you the flame might look “mild” - when in reality it isn’t at all ;)

@santi: joer, y nosotros hablando en ingles!! jajaja, yo soy de madrid

We do not allow comments, or any portion of a comment, to be in any language other than English.

There are some exceptions to this rule:

1) This rule does not apply in the International discussions section.

2) A short sentence or two is allowed, as long as a translation into English is provided in parenthesis: Förstår du? (Do you understand?)

3) The only other exception I can think of... would be in an article or thread that was set up (by TDR) for use in an “Ask Per” scenario. Questions posed in Swedish would not be deleted in this particular case.

I’m leaving those posts here for now so that anyone else that comes along knows what I’m talking about... and ask for your cooperation in the future. Thanks! – LEO

personally i like the topics, its been great in here the last 2 weeks i hate coming on and seeing nothing has moved.
