Wow... that’s great!! EMI Canada has been ... all things considered... rather supportive of Roxette, or so it seems.

Well, that is GOOD NEWS indeed! It would be fantastic to hear “One Wish” on Canadian radio.
*keep my fingers crossed*
Thanks for sharing that Chris.

I worked at a music store in Canada during the HAND/RS period- at times as a buyer. While both releases were included in the sell packages, very little other (if any) promotion was done.
I actually found that EMI was the worst of the major labels in terms of promotion (and not just with Roxette). They seem to just put stuff out there- if it sells we’ll release a single, if it doesn’t...enh!
Regardless, it’s good just to have the releases in the stores! Hopefully there will be some kind of NTSC version of the RoxBox as well. Frida (from ABBA) released a box earlier this year in Europe and they actually pressed NTSC versions for export.

Looks like we’re getting the normal and deluxe versions of the GH on October 17th, according to EMI Canada’s website - right on time if the Swedish release is the 18th because new releases are still out on Tuesdays here. I guess that means “One Wish” will be made available to radio/video channels as well (not that they’ll play it!). No word on whether we’re getting the Rox Box, though.
