Does anyone know how to extract audio off a *.*mov file, one you’ve downloaded rather than one you’ve made yourself? Is it even possible? Any help much appreciated.

You can always play it back and at the same time record with some other program, like for example Audacity, which is free (and 100% legal).

Not to worry, I’ll just get my tape recorder out and hold it to the screen. I have the CD, but I wanted to see if I could take the audio off the video that came with it, cos the video version is different and I can’t find it on download...

As I told you sounds much better, if you keep other programs (like messengers, ICQs and stuff) quiet ;) And it’s the same process :D

Xilisoft Video Converter:
http://allformp3.com/mov-guide.htm
ImTOO MOV Converter:
http://www.imtoo.com/mov-converter.html
Both are shareware so I don’t know how limited they are.
