Some possibile new songs for upcoming release?
From a 2001 news release:
“Always the Last to Know,” “Being With You,” “Only When I Dream,” and “Ghost in the House” are some of the songs that have been written by Per Gessle, apparently for the forthcoming album (“FA”).
Other new Gessle songs include “Holiday,” “Little Miss Sorrow,” “Loud Clothes,” “Makin’ Love to You,” “Run to Me,” “Turn of the Tide,”

@ etrejos
Forget about these songs:
“God is a Girl” > not written by Per, just in the list because it´s was based on “Jefferson”. The original “writer” is Groove Coverage.
“Hold on my heart” > Per wrote this one to a teen band called K-Otic
“Libérame Amor” > It´s “You Don´t Understand Me” in spanish... if it´s like the other spanish version... pfff.
“Rainclouds” > Recorded as “Despuis La Nuit Des Temps” by another teen group called WhatFor.
“Rocket from her heart” > Also recorded for another artist, but can´t remember the name.
So... just “Liberame Amor” is unreleased.

PS: “Run To Me” is the english version of “Regn” (solo swedish song by Per) recorded by a swedish singer. Not unreleased, so.

“Libérame Amor” is not “You Don´t Understand Me” in Spanish. It is a Spanish version of “It Must Have Been Love” that was recorded by some latin artist (I don’t remember her name).

@LoneGunman: You’re right, but it doesn’t necesarily mean that they couldn’t include them if they wanted. Weren’t “Stay (At Home...)” and “I do believe” released by other artists before they ended up in the EP?
It doesn’t matter, I’d still prefer fresh new demos :D

@ etrejos - No, you´re right... these songs could be included, I´m just saying that not among the 14 unreleased ones... well, at least I hope not.
The other BMI songs would be a good surprise.

“Always the Last to Know” > rox demo of “Det Som Var Nu” by Marie.
“Ghost in the House” > rox demo of “Ande In En Flaska” by GT.
I think the only unreleased song of the BMI list is “Loud Clothes”.

’Ande in en flaska’ in Enligh would be perfect song for Rox Box ;-) I have very fond memories connected with AIEF (GGCOCOCC) so it would be really nice to see it in the rock-set ;D

Isn’t “always the last to know” the english version of “Det som var nu”?
WHat about those Marie demos... All i ever wanted, remember, etc?

werent there 4-5 soongs marie demoed an or recorded for the hand album, those 14 songs could easily be the 14 songs they orginally recorded for hand then scrapped too

I’d like to know what sort of song Ghost In The House is. I’ve always thought it was an interesting title, and how can you write a song about that!! Maybe one day we’ll find out

small correction:
“Rainclouds” was released as “Minnen” by Blackjack
“Rocket From My[Her] Heart” by The Boppers and Mark Keller
“Run To Me” by Christopher Barker [English version of “Regn”]

I know there are some more unreleased songs on BMI, I’m just too lazy to start looking thru all of them :p
There’s “God is a Girl”, “Hold on my heart”, “Libérame Amor”, “Rainclouds”, “Rocket from her heart” (I think this one was recorded by another artist)...
