"My Hero" (O'Hanlon) - Question to UK people

Does anyone know how to get this serial? I have season 3 on DVD, but the other series (1,2,4,5) I haven’t been able to find anywhere.

They must exist- why only have 1 series on DVD, or put them out in skew order?

I’ve just looked thru various sites and they aren’t out yet hun. Or so it would seem. Sorry!

Thanks for checking! :)

Does anyone maybe know a good UK torrent site where they might be so I can at least download them until they are released (if ever)?

Well I had a good search for it on some UK sites I use and I can only locate Series 3 for you as well...

All I can think is that the previous series have been deleted on DVD after the next one was released... but if that is the case I would have thought there would have been some trace of it online...

A new series just started in the UK here about 2 weeks ago but O’Hanlon is no longer Theroman... some other guy took over and it’s really crap...

Gotta ask is there any reason why you really love it....

If it’s O’Hanlon you like then he just made a great film in the UK that came out on DVD this month, he’s really funny in that!

James Dreyfuss, and yes he is pure crap! Ardal, why? Did the Beeb not offer you enough?

I think he got big headed after making that recent films.... maybe he wants to stick to them!

Its up to him in the end. I think I read somewhere he wanted to go back and do standup again, which was why he quit.

@ally: Thanks for checking! :) I have actually seen a picture of a season 1 box from USA, but nowhere to buy it.
The reason why I like it so much is the whole feeling in that show. I like all the actors, not only O’Hanlon (even though I guess the new series is shit without him).
But I don’t like Father Ted though, even though he is in there as well.
But that film could maybe be something for me (I really like British humour) then! :-) What is it called?

The film is called “The Adventures Of Greyfriar’s Bobby” it’s actually based on a true story from the 1800’s in Scotland.

Ardal O’Hanlon plays a trap living on the streets, it’s not really comedy as such but he does take on a good role and the film is really good.... kind of sad! I saw it at the cinema and I bought the DVD last week as well!

Still no luck with My Hero I am afraid!
