I Like It Like That

I suddenly fell in love with this song ALL OVER again! It’s actually such a ’sexy’ song... sure it will do pretty well on the radio!! Any other fans??
Was also wondering if we can expect a video for this... sure with Sirus & all it wouldn’t be such a bad idea!!

No I actually LIKED the DJ video... was actually very surreal in the conceptualization! I guess everyone expected something a little different because most of the songs on SOAP is so incredably rich with intertextual references!
Not sure if there’s footage for such a mini-project or even if Mr Gee would be able to sqeeze some time outa he’s busy shedule for this.... but i sure think that this album should be concluded with a *bang* and not just disapear into the great wide obscure...

i love this song too. although i have only listened to the demo version that is available online. i haven´t heard the whole album yet and i know the demo lyrics differ considerably from the finished version.

Average song, in my opinion. I could live without it...
Sorry, but I have to say this. It sound’s like a copy of Blunt’s “You’re Beautiful”. Sorry, Per, I couldn’t help it!

In that case Blunt copied it as Per wrote this in 2002. Sorry, but I had to say it...

As usual, Room_Service and I are on opposite ends of the taste spectrum, as I think this is one of Per’s best songs ever - simple, uplifting, and classic Gessle. To each his own.

Similar to “You’re Beautiful”? Well, that could be a good thing, considering the massive success of that single. Anyhow, I adore “I Like It Like That” - both the album version and the demo.

Maybe Per wrote this song in 2002, but it was not revealed until 2005. So, it doesn’t count to at all. I consider the song the was released first, don’t mind it was written in 2002 or 1964.

I think this song is so beautiful. It’s one of my favourite songs of the 2nd SOAP Cd.

Room service, sorry to say, but release dates have nothing to do with plagiarism.
For example, what if I had access to a preliminar recording and plagiarised a song from the upcoming Red hot chilli peppers album and release it before they do.
chrisjankunas said on May 11, 2006 14:53:
@Ferdan - Then the peppers copied Per of course ;)
I don’t mind this song. My liking of it tends to vary with my mood.

I love it also.
Maybe it’s the song Marie has cryed as she heard it for the first time ??

It doesnt have any 60’s of 70’s sound. Its a ’now’ sound. I guess Per needed some commercial songs on the album and this one is one along with JS. Best polished/produced song on the album. Perfect.

Great song, sounds like it could have been on a roxette album as well. I think that it is the song on Soap wich gives me the biggest roxette vibes.

It seems that Per is now writing more “happy” love songs rather than “depressing” love songs. It’s good!! I remember an interview from a long time ago where he said that he found it hard to write a happy love song without it sounding funny or corny.
Well, he must’ve been practicing ’cos this is damn good!!!!!
I love this song! Glad it’s gonna be a single. Hope the video has a theme which at least has a little to do with the lyrics, unlike Hey Mr DJ. I think the demo is cool too!
