It seems that somebody has already registered it and is waiting for activation... anybody knows?

gyllenetider.eu, mf.eu, soap.eu and roxservice.eu belong to the same person so it might be that rox.eu belongs to the same..

It doesn’t look official and I haven’t heard anything about it either. Remember Dimberg’s message about sites they support.

It was registered by Marcusvandeursen, user on this forum. It isn’t official.
He told me to expect something like the previous roxservice sites, but without the (illegal) downloads...
@marcusvandeursen: Hope i didn’t tell to much by the way....

RoxService was a really classy website! One of the best fansites I’ve ever visited.
purplemedusa said on April 28, 2006 11:57:

Then it’s quite possible that unless he can prove he’s the owner of something called “Roxette” officially, he won’t get the domain name.
It’s actually quite strange that 2 months have passed without moving from “initial” period.
marcusvandeursen said on April 28, 2006 16:40:
Hi folks...
thought to keep it quite for a while until site would be finished and ready for launch, but that apparently didn’t work out...
@purp, thank you very much for the compliment and corrections you gave me so far. won’t make too much comments yet but what I will say is that it will be a very extensive online discography... based on both my own collection (by now nearly a 1,000 records) and TLFR with many scan, details, quotes from P&M etc. about actual releases, songs, etc.
as for the complete domains registered;
roxette.eu - pending review (can take up to several months, as about a 100,000 sunrise applications are still awaiting review)
gyllenetider.eu
mariefredriksson.eu
pergessle.eu
sonofaplumber.eu
sonofaplumber.de
as for the structure;
Somewhat SOAP.com-like.
Illegal downloads?
Gone entirely with the rare exceptions of e.g. some live Strul-songs

Santi: he already got the other domains and his name is not marie fredriksson, as far as I know ;)
marcusvandeursen said on April 28, 2006 20:00:
@Santi; since early April .eu-domains can be registered by anyone on first-come first-serve basis.
Why Roxette.eu was registered during sunrise period? I’ve registered Roxette as a business name, with which I’m trading as a graphic designer in Ireland. Pity I did it, as Sunrise review may take several months now (100,000+ sunrise applications are still pending). :o(

Great news! Any chances to see this page opened until July?? It‘s an important question for me :0)

I wonder why you put so much interest in those domains. Do you plan to launch a site for every domain or it just a matter of obsession?
Santi said on April 28, 2006 00:34:
It was done during the sunrise period as it is stated on the http://www.whois.eu/ . That probably means there is some link between Roxette or something officially called “Roxette” and the domain. For registering during the second phase of the sunrise of .eu domains it could be done only with registered trademarks and company names.
I’ve recently registered a .eu domain and it took me little time, after the sunrise had passed.
