I went with a friend to see this in the uK tonight as he wanted to see it. i dont like scary films, but thought as it was a 15 (one up from the last harry potter film 12) i would ok.
warning warning THIS FILM IS SICK !! warning. yuk yuk yuk, This should be 18 without a question , i dread to think what an 18 film is nowadays. People wonder why sociaty is getting more and more violent. And the killed the sexy blonde short hair copper :-( off. I still cant get over how violent and sick twisted this film is for a 15 , one up for the last harry potter film for petes sake! Maybe its just me but aliens was a 18 thats tame compared to this.

lol! you really hate this one :) I’m agree with the violence, but overall, I like this movie alot :). The story is pretty good, the cinematography all GREAT, and good performance by Radha Mitchel.
But, anyway, people has just different taste :)

I’ve never played the games, but i have a fair idea of what they’re about and what to expect. I don’t think it’s my kind of movie. I would have thought it would get the highest rating available.

Well, I think it’s rating “R” here in US (not sure, though), and I think the credit title (Is it how to mention that?) at the end was so damn cool! Probably the second best after Harry Potter and the Prizoner of Azkaban’s (the little foots walking around)

Btw, the scene that I couldn’t stand the most was when Pyramid Head (or whatever that thing called rip of the woman’s skin).

The movie was ok, not great. Storyline had a bit of “Ring” in it, and the whole “mother’s love” theme. Though from what I understand, the town should have been the main character and theme. The ending was the best for me, sad too

I never played the game, did not even know about the game until after seeing the movie. I actually though the movie was yet another re-make of Japanese horror flick.

There were a few parts that made me cringe, maybe because it was based on video game. Like the blonde police woman who looked a bit “butch”.... they should have used a male character instead.

Also what was up with big-breasted chicks who did the Michael Jackson “Thriller” dance?
