Question for Ally

How much did your original POP CD go for in your Ebay auction? I have one and paid about $50 for it originally, but now how much is it worth?

I was surprised as I think it went for around £40 but it’s well over 18 months since I sold it...

£40 is a crazy price for Pearls Of Passion Swedish Original CD. And if I Say Original I Mean the 1986 release, not the 1991 release and not the bootleg. I think that £13-15 is a good price for the 1986 original release of Pearls Of Passion Swedish CD. in the late 80´s you could sell it for 1000 SEK (approx £66,7) but when Pearls Of Passion-The First Album was released 1997 the price went down a bit and then the price became cheaper for the 1986 original release of Pearls Of Passion Swedish CD. But I´m sure that you can sell the 1986 original release of Pearls Of Passion Swedish CD for £20-27 but it´s a crazy price for it. I think it´s not fun that many releases/issues from the Pearls Of Passion periody became cheaper now. For example in the late 80´s you could take 650 SEK (approx £64,4) for the Swedish Dance Passion Vinyl and now you can get it for £1,7 on Tradera

I did sell the original 1986 CD, although my start price on eBay was around £5, I never expected it to go for £40 but it did.....

Still I am not complaining!

Earth... we keep getting to this question; because items might pop out of the woodworks now, doesn’t mean it’s less rare than what it was. the internet has opened alternative doors HOWEVER not everyone is FROM Sweden (or Europe for that matter) where these things seems to be incredably cheap AND sooner or later these items will start become less frequent - and then prices will sky rocket again!! But one must always remember that items are priced according to what the FANS are willing to pay for them!

I have an extra PO P86 edition if someone is interested???

Ted do you fancy swapping... :)

true true but if someone wants ....

a friend of mine in lincloln paid £300 for pop back in about 1990, i couldnt believe it, i paid £12 for mine a couple of months later, so it really does just depend on how bad some 1 wants it at that time.

Help!! I wonder how fun your friend think it is to own that CD now when he know he paid GBP 288 too much for it! ;-)

really really really really sick, lol, she did when i got mine for 12 quid
