Have to agree with TPH, not only is that the worst music videos you can watch, but it has also to be the worst music (and I’m being polite by calling this music). My dogs could make more harmonies than those rappers/Hip hop wannabes. I guess the only thing those can be proud of is that they probably earn the title of “most one hits wonder” (and i have to found something to replace wonder)

There are so many bad videos. The first Neverending Love isn’t too great. What’s going on with Marie’s dancing?? lol Not keen on Stars either.

I can’t seem to name any individual video that I think merits the title of Worst Music Video Ever. There have been thousands of horrific videos made - the 80’s and early 90’s were filled with them. R.E.M. made some horrible videos in the 80’s. Vanilla Ice, that “Can’t Touch This” guy, a lot of rap/dance videos. My brain is going into overload trying to think.

I don’t get why people don’t like “Stars”. It’s one of my faves! Ok, the ducks were cheesy, but I think the first half is hysterical (especially the bit where Marie starts dancing and the guy’s like, “Get away from me, you crazy person”), and the second half is just so “awwww”. I love the whole through-the-years transition thing, though I can’t resist a chuckle at the way he looks at her when she leaves the table that second time. It’s like he’s saying, “Please stop doing that. Each time you return you’re like, a decade older.” Ok, maybe I’m sick, but I think it’s awesome. “Real Sugar” on the other hand I can’t sit through. Ditto “Fingertips”.
The worst music video by any artist, in my opinion, is “Whip It” by Devo. I haven’t seen it in over 20 years and it’s still seared in the scar tissue of my brain... Second runner up would be “Land of Confusion” by Genesis. Similar effect. Outside Gessle and Def Leppard I quit watching music videos a decade ago... Too traumatizing.

Never understood why the Stars video was unpopular either. There is something rather camp, ironic and kitsch about it that I think is great. You have to take it for what it is...a bit of fun. There are a lot worse Roxette videos.

I think alot of people were expecting something completely different for the Stars video, so never really warmed to what was released.
As far as worst video, any of the rap/hiphop ones. You’ve seen one, you’ve seen them all.
