Push Gessle to the NO. 1

don’t vote too often ... welle 1 is a very small local radio station in salzburg/austria with about 40.000 listeners ... they would notice if much more people voted on the internet than called them (on the phone) because of the song ...
(i worked there once ...)

What confuses me about this chart is, last week this song was at no 16, this week it is at no 13. Even though it has climbed a few spots it is marked with a downwards arrow.. am I missing something? Shouldn’t it be an upwards arrow??

Is the link not working anymore? Does anyone know what the current chart position is for the song?
joyrider said on April 10, 2006 16:07:
it went up to pos. 11 ... but that doesn’t mean anything in their rotation.
eBay said on April 11, 2006 09:14:
Oh, and why is that not an inclination on the songs rotation? Don’t they play a song more often if a song gets voted for?

i guess they don’t take their website voting thing too serious. it is just a kind of indicator. they play songs more often if they get lots of mails or calls (with greetings and stuff) which say, a special song should be played.
welle 1 is small and their listeners are very young (12 to 20something ... “party people”). welle 1 is a very “uptempo and remix-oriented” station ...
strange is that the (only) big radio staiton in austria, hitradio ö3, doesn’t play “jo-anna” yet ... maybe they start the rotation when the album is out ... i don’t konw.
what about airplays in other countries? i am wondering cause per keeps telling, everywhere people love his new style ... are there any ariplay charts?

In Switzerland, Jo-Anna gets much airplay. I usually hear it once a day and I don’t listen to the radio all day long!
