for me roxette’s music is that unique because of not just having one single hook line in a song... roxette songs work out fine because of different layers of great hook lines. the list below is a little mix of bands i like (because of their catchy songs) and bands i probably like just because i like roxette ...

My favourite bands are only ROXETTE and QUEEN like Marlene.
Marlene, have you got any Queen bootlegs? We can do some exchange together.
Marlene said on March 25, 2006 18:40:
@Breathe8: Unfortunately not. :-( The only thing I am collecting this far are the albums.
Santi said on March 25, 2006 20:57:
I like many things but I don’t think that all of them suit a roxfan’s taste. That’s why I think that what you could like would be:
The Corrs, Gyllene Tider, Crowded House, Bryan Adams, Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, The Cars, Blondie, Suzanne Vega (some songs), Elisa (Italian singer who sings in English), Morten Abel (Norwegian singer), The Beatles, The Tuesdays (Norwegian as well), Sau (Catalan band), Mecano (Spanish Band), Mylène Farmer (some songs).
I think if you give it a try to some of this you will definitely like :)
Strest said on March 25, 2006 21:43:
My favourite HHH WrestleMania moment is probably when he pedigreed Ultimate Warrior ... who no-sold it :)
I kinda doubt they’ve got that much in common with Roxette, but I really like Weezer, U2 & Weeping Willows.
Robrox said on March 25, 2006 21:53:
My favourites next to Roxette are - in my opinion - very untypical of a Roxette fan:
-) The Who (especially the albums “Live at the Royal Albert Hall”, “Who´s next”and “Quadrophenia”)
-) Deep Purple
-) Rainbow
-) Johnny Cash (his albums produced by Rick Rubin)
-) Stereophonics
-) The Beatles (album “Rubber Soul”)
-) Led Zeppelin

For me there’s just one band besides Roxette that can make me feel this special way. And that’s Queen (in the original version with Freddy Mercury), though it’s a different kind of music.
