So these are the songs you DON’T like??
strange choices on there I think.
I don’t really have many which I have to turn off.
Strest said on March 13, 2006 13:24:
I kinda dislike Soul Deep.
But several of those you mentioned are among my absolute favourites (like Cooper - Closer to God, Cinnamon Street and Opportunity Nox)

On an album Joyride the song has turned out better

For me there are no “unloved” Roxette songs, I can enjoy any of them. But if to take those I think I could’ve survived without happily, guess they would be:
Try, Make My Head Go Pop, Physical Fascination, Lies, You can’t put your arms around what’s already gone, Pay the price, View from a hill.
These songs just don’t move me or annoy me at times. It’s not that I “unlove” them. They have their moments.
I would also include The centre of the heart in this list, but “I’ve learned to like that song” (quoting Per talking about Almust Unreal ;) When Marie sings live “Oh this is no place special”, it’s beautiful.

It is indeed a pointless topic as we’ve had it so many times before. I am too lazy to look it up but I am sure you will find it more than once.
No offense though. When you are new you can’t know about all the topics that have passed by yet.

off the top of my head:
STARS!!! -why
Make my head go pop- awful
Opportunity Nox- is ok but weird
Centre of the heart- throw away
Think they are definatly the worst! any others i will think of after i have logged off will no doubt be on HAND and RS!

The songs I tend to skip are:
- Voices (placing it immediately after Surrender, which is the best song on the album, the contrast is too big)
- The First Girl on The Moon
- Place Your Love
- Anyone
- Salvation
- The Heart Shaped Sea
- The Big L.
- You Don’t Understand Me
- Little Girl
- It takes you no time to get here

Cry;
I Was So Lucky;
The-live-songs-from-tourism-album (except “Things Will Never Be Same” and “It Must Have Been Love”);
I Call Your Name (all the versions);
View From A Hill;
Love Is All (great but too long...);
My World My Love My Life (in this case, I don’t skip it, I turn off the CD player, of course...);
harriej said on March 17, 2006 21:15:
strange choice....
turning of the CD-player at the most beautiful ballad Roxette has made.
alexandre100 said on March 17, 2006 21:32:
@harriej
Oh, no, you didn’t get it... I meant I can’t skip it, simply because it’s the last song from the album... So I have to turn off the radio (or listen to the first song again)...
Anyway, forget it... I was in a strange mood when I wrote that...
By the way, I have to say that I just ADORE all of the songs of your list...
AURYTE said on March 20, 2006 06:04:
It’s always strange to see that the others “unlove” the songs you adore!
eBay said on March 22, 2006 11:55:
@AURYTE
I totally agree with you! I see some songs listed above that I totally adore! Like ’First girl on the moon’ for isntance. To me this is one of Roxette’s best and most original songs ever. I just love it sooo much!
For me personally, there has only ever been one song that I skip and find annoying to listen to, it’s Soul Deep. ;-)

What?
